Begin Your Dearmouring Journey.

“The body remembers everything — and it also remembers how to heal.”

What is Dearmouring?

Dearmouring is a somatic process of releasing the body’s protective layers — the physical, emotional, and energetic tension that forms in response to stress, trauma, or prolonged disconnection from ourselves.

Throughout life, the body learns to guard itself. These protective contractions — sometimes called “armour” — can appear as tightness, numbness, pain, or a sense of being disconnected from feeling and pleasure. In somatic language, armour is not something wrong; it is the body’s wisdom doing its best to keep us safe.

Dearmouring gently invites the body to soften these patterns at its own pace, restoring natural flow, vitality, and aliveness.

A Gentle, Integrative Approach

Dearmouring combines soft-touch bodywork, breath, sound, energy, presence and awareness to support natural release and relaxation.
Rather than pushing or forcing, we listen to the body and follow its pace. When the body feels safe, it naturally lets go of what it no longer needs.

Start Your Journey

Dearmouring is not a one-time fix; it is a process of gradual release and reconnection. Each session uncovers a little more of what the body has been holding. Small, consistent steps allow the nervous system to relax safely and emotions to be integrated.

I recommend starting with five sessions to begin the journey. This series allows the body to unfold gently, creating real shifts in tension, awareness, and embodiment.

What a Session Can Look Like

  1. Opening & Consent – We start with widths setting a frame in conversation, setting intentions and clear boundaries. You are always in control.

  2. Grounding – Simple breath or movement helps you arrive in your body and calm the nervous system.

  3. Touch, energy & Release – Gentle, focused touch helps areas of tension unwind. You might feel different sensations, movement, or emotion.

  4. Integration – Time to rest, ground, and let your system absorb the changes.

  5. AfterCare – Can be a Hug, a Sharing, a question, anything is welcome.
