I AM ASTRÍÐUR

Movement has always been my language

.

I create spaces where people reconnect with their bodies, their vitality, and the intelligence of life itself.

Before I understood embodiment, healing, or the nervous system, I knew movement.
The rhythm of a bicycle weaving through city streets.
The pulse of music moving through a room.
The intelligence of a body that knows how to breathe, feel, adapt, and find its way.
I have spent much of my life exploring one essential question:

What makes us feel truly alive?
Not successful.
Not productive.
Not perfect.

Alive.
Again and again, life has brought me back to the same place:

The body already knows.
My work is devoted to creating spaces where that wisdom can be heard.
Not through force. Not through fixing.
Through movement, breath, presence, connection, and the courage to fully inhabit ourselves.

MY STORY IS A RETURN TO ALIVENESS

Movement has always been my language.

Long before I discovered embodiment as a practice, I was exploring life through motion. As a bike messenger weaving through city streets, I learned about rhythm, intuition, resilience, presence, and flow. The bicycle became more than transportation.

It became a teacher.
It taught me to listen.
To respond.
To trust my instincts.
To move with what is here.

I have lived many lives within one lifetime.
Designer.
Entrepreneur.
Bike messenger.
Facilitator.
Explorer.
Student of life.

Each chapter revealed another layer of what it means to be human. And beneath all of them lived the same curiosity:

What makes us come alive?

That question led me through movement practices, somatic work, nervous system exploration, body-based therapies, breathwork, sacred healing arts, relational work, and community building.

I explored many paths.
Gathered many tools.
Searched for ways to better understand myself, others, and the mystery of being human.
Yet the deeper I traveled, the simpler things became.
I stopped searching for the perfect method.
I stopped trying to become someone else.
I began listening.
To my body.
To life.
To what emerges when we become quiet enough to feel.

And slowly, I began to understand:
We do not always need another answer.
Sometimes, we need to create enough space to hear what is already there.

THE BODY ALREADY KNOWS

Embodied Aliveness Journey

A personalized journey for those who want to go deeper.

Together, we explore what is alive within you through embodied awareness, movement, nervous system wisdom, deep listening, and intuitive exploration.

A space to meet transitions, patterns, desires, and questions not only through the mind, but through the intelligence of your whole being.

For those seeking deeper embodiment, meaningful transformation, and a more alive relationship with themselves and their lives.

Cura | Embodied Healing Sessions

An intuitive one-to-one space to slow down, listen, and meet what is present.

Through embodied awareness, energetic listening, movement, breath, and presence, we create space for what wants to be felt, expressed, released, or understood.

A space for reconnection. For clarity.
For coming back into relationship with yourself.

For those navigating change, seeking greater balance, or feeling called to listen more deeply to what their body and life are asking for.

The Living
Principles

This work is rooted in a simple belief: Life is always moving.

Toward expression.
Toward connection.
Toward greater wholeness.
And sometimes, we lose touch with that movement.
We become disconnected from our bodies.
Our desires.
Our creativity.
Our vitality.
Our capacity to feel.
Our capacity to receive.
Our capacity to be fully here.
The work is not to force life to move.
It is to listen for where movement has become difficult.
To create space.
To soften what is ready to soften.
To meet what is asking to be met.

And to allow life to move again.
Not by fixing ourselves.
But by participating more fully in the experience of being human.

THE BODY AS WISDOM

The body carries an intelligence far beyond the thinking mind.
We learn to listen to its signals, sensations, rhythms, impulses, and deeper knowing.

MOVEMENT AS MEDICINE

Movement restores relationship.
With sensation.
With expression.
With vitality.
With the world around us.
It reminds us that life is not static.
Life moves.
And so do we.

PRESENCE BEFORE PERFORMANCE

We gently loosen the habits of striving, proving, controlling, and performing.
Not to become passive.
But to discover what becomes possible when we no longer need to perform who we think we should be.

CONNECTION CREATES CHANGE

We do not exist in isolation. Transformation happens in relationship.
With ourselves. With others. With the world. With life itself.
When we feel safe enough to be seen, to feel, and to belong, something within us can begin to move.

ALIVENESS IS OUR NATURE

Aliveness is not something we need to achieve.
It is something we remember.
Something we allow.
Something we meet when we dare to inhabit ourselves more fully.
Beneath our patterns, our protection, and our stories, there is an essential vitality.
A life force.
Waiting not to be created — but to be lived.

My Path & Training

My work has been shaped by years of exploration across embodiment, movement, nervous system work, somatic practices, breath, body-based therapies, sacred healing arts, relational practices, and collective experiences.

These practices inform my work.
But I do not believe that transformation belongs to one method.

My approach is integrative and intuitive — listening to the person, the body, and the moment rather than following a fixed formula.

The modalities are not the destination. They are doorways. The deeper practice is listening.

An Invitation

You do not need another self-improvement project.
You do not need to become a better version of yourself before you can begin living.

Perhaps the wisdom you are searching for is already closer than you think.
Perhaps it is in the breath you have not yet fully exhaled.

The movement you have not allowed.
The truth you have not yet spoken.
The desire you have not yet listened to.
The stillness you have been avoiding.

What if your body has been quietly guiding you all along?
What if healing, joy, creativity, pleasure, connection, and vitality are not separate paths — but different expressions of the same life force moving through you?

What if aliveness is not something you achieve — but something you allow?

Take a breath.
Slow down.
Listen.

Your body already knows the way.
