I AM ASTRÍÐUR | Movement has always been my language.
.
I create spaces where people reconnect with their bodies, their vitality, and the intelligence of life itself.
Before I understood embodiment, healing, or nervous systems, I knew movement.
The rhythm of a bicycle weaving through city streets.
The pulse of music moving through a room.
The intelligence of a body that knows how to breathe, feel, and adapt.
I've spent much of my life exploring one question:
What makes us feel truly alive?
Not successful.
Not productive.
Not perfect.
Alive.
Again and again, life has brought me back to the same place:
The body already knows.
It knows how to heal.
How to connect.
How to soften.
How to express.
How to love.
My work is devoted to creating spaces where that wisdom can be heard.
Not through force. Not through fixing.
But through movement, presence, connection, and the courage to fully inhabit ourselves.
MY STORY IS A RETURN TO ALIVENESS
Movement has always been my language.
Long before I discovered embodiment as a practice, I was exploring life through motion. As a bike messenger weaving through city streets, I learned about rhythm, intuition, resilience, and flow. The bicycle became more than transportation—it became a teacher.
I have lived many lives within one lifetime.
Designer.
Entrepreneur.
Bike messenger.
Facilitator.
Explorer.
Student of life.
Each chapter revealed a different aspect of what it means to be human.
I've always been curious about what makes us feel truly alive.
That curiosity led me through movement practices, somatic work, nervous system healing, body-based therapies, breathwork, sacred healing arts, relational exploration, and community building. I explored many paths, gathered many tools, and searched for ways to better understand myself, others, and the mystery of being human.
Yet the deeper I traveled, the simpler things became.
I stopped searching for the perfect method.
I stopped trying to become someone else.
I began listening.
To my body.
To life.
To the wisdom that emerges when we slow down enough to feel.
Again and again, I found myself returning to the same truth:
The body already knows.
It knows how to soften.
How to express.
How to grieve.
How to celebrate.
How to reconnect with life.
Looking back, I can see that questions of connection, belonging, resilience, and embodiment have accompanied me from the very beginning. Perhaps that is why I care so deeply about creating spaces where people can experience themselves as fully alive, deeply connected, and at home within their own skin.
Today, Breath, Sound & movement is both my practice and my medicine.
It reminds me that life is not something to control but something to participate in. It reminds me that healing, joy, creativity, pleasure, and connection are not separate paths, but part of the same unfolding journey back to ourselves.
My work has grown from this understanding.
I am passionate about creating spaces where people can reconnect with their bodies, trust their inner wisdom, and experience more vitality, freedom, and aliveness in their lives.
Because I believe we are not here merely to survive. We are here to live.

My Path & Training
-
Before the somatic certifications, there were 20 years of visual architecture and movement. My work is built on a foundation of 20 years of Visual Design (FHD, 2007) and two decades of navigating city streets as an independent entrepreneur. This is where I learned the structure that now allows for the flow.

The Living Principles
This work is rooted in a simple belief:
Life is always moving toward greater expression, connection, and wholeness.
Sometimes we lose touch with that natural movement.
We become disconnected from our bodies, our desires, our creativity, our vitality, and our capacity to feel fully alive.
Through movement, embodied awareness, nervous system wisdom, sacred healing, and authentic connection, we create space for life to move again.
Not by fixing ourselves.
But by listening.
By softening.
By participating more fully in the experience of being human.
The Body as Wisdom
The body carries intelligence far beyond what the mind can understand. We learn to listen to its signals, rhythms, and deeper knowing.
Movement as Medicine
Movement helps restore flow, expression, vitality, and connection. It reminds us that life is meant to move through us.
Presence Before Performance
We gently loosen the habits of striving, proving, and performing so that something more authentic can emerge.
Connection Creates Change
Healing, growth, and transformation happen in relationship—with ourselves, with others, and with life.
Aliveness Is Our Nature
Beneath every adaptation, every protection, and every story lives an essential vitality waiting to be expressed.
An Invitation
You do not need another self-improvement project.
You do not need to fix yourself.
What if the wisdom you seek is already living within you?
What if your body has been quietly guiding you all along?
What if healing, joy, creativity, connection, and vitality are not separate paths—but different expressions of the same life force moving through you?
What if aliveness is not something you achieve, but something you allow?
Take a breath.
Slow down.
Listen.
Your body already knows the way.
